List threshold - one admin able to see the list the other isn't

The other admin is able to see this list so they are able to work on it but since I can't see it, I'm not able assist. What admin settings might be involved so we can update that?

 

 

"This view cannot be displayed because it exceeds the list view threshold (10000 items) enforced by the administrator."

  • ksullivan2 Are you using classic experience list? If yes, try using modern experience.

     

    Also, as a best practice you should add indexing on necessary columns. Follow workarounds given here: Manage large lists and libraries 

     

    Both admin users have same access on site? Try accessing the list with site collection administrator (SCA) user account once. It should show you all the items.

      ganeshsanap We use both classic and modern, our site is very big and we've been migrating for a long time. This particular list is on classic still. We do a lot of indexing and filters and on this list, it's so big and used so much, that we often have to go in and archive data, but I'm not able to help with that because I can't see the contents of the list. I'll look closer at our permissions and see if there's something that might be different. Thank you for your reply
