List Preview Web Part only shows default view no matter what view is chosen in the properties pane
I just found a similar problem with the list (preview) web part. It just ignores all views - even though it says it is showing a particular view, it is actually not, you see the default view.
We are not in targeted release, just completely ordinary…
I am using views in list web parts on pages quite a lot, so it is not so nice for my users to see things that they should not see, because the default view is enforced in the web part.
The views are perfectly fine used in the lists. It is only when using them in a web part it doesn’t work.
i have currently the same problem, was this never fixed?
Views are now back to normal in my tenant. I assume that it had to do with all the View stuff MS were rolling out. So, for me I had some weeks of agony before it changed back to current state.
I'm very sorry, i missed to press the apply button (maybe doesn't always show up when editing the list webpart...) probably i'm in the monday modus.
