List not working! When adding item it saves then creates multiple duplicates of same item.
Hi Deleted
You asked that I provide an update so here goes:
Yesterday I put in a support ticket with Microsoft, they called called me and asked that I use problem steps recorder and send them the zip file. The response I received was:
"I have investigated information provided and so no changes to your environment.
I do see a Service Alert (SP 147225), however that may be the cause of this issue. This Service Alert speaks directly to performance related issues and we will need to wait till that is resolved to investigate further." I am waiting for a call back from them today hopefully.

Quick update: Received this message from Microsoft Support on Tuesday: We believe the issue related to Service Degradation SP147387 is resolved and you should no longer be experiencing the duplication in SharePoint. So far the list has not been duplicating so I think we are all set. The only thing is that I have been trying to export the list to excel but it won't let me, it gives me an error message. So I'm not sure if its related to this same issue or just because we've gone over the 5,000 item limit. Deleted

Fan-freaking-tastic. Maybe they're rushing to get stuff in there and live for Ignite? Still, it would be really great if they actually outlined what the changes are, especially since they have such a profound impact on how people use Lists. If it's a matter of them putting new things into place and they let the customer base know about that, fine. Without such notification, it's only natural for people observing the behavior to believe it's just plain broken.

Deleted, I'm not seeing anything in our Admin center's feed yet. FWIW, we've been seeing the "duplicate creation" issue when using Quick Edit mode for the last few weeks. It's exceedingly annoying that MS would push out such a fundamental change to how Lists work without it being an opt-in.
BTW, do you happen to have any details on the change itself? A roadmap item ID or link to more information?
