Links in SharePoint not functioning properly

On my SharePoint site, when you click a link, the first time it refreshes the page. After it refreshes the page, the second time you click it, it works.

Any way to get the links to function correctly the first time you click?

Most often this occurs when the link goes to a different part of the SharePoint site.
