link to a file/folder on file share possible ore not any more?
Looking for a solution to link a file or folder in a file share from a SharePonit list or page (in Office 365).
Is it possible that this is no longer possible today? The solutions I've found so far with e.g. "file://server/share/" don't work.
The files to be linked must remain local and must not be placed in the cloud.

MS this works in classic. Could you enable that feature again in modern SP?
