Libraries: Collapsed Column Categories as Default View Option - Help Needed

Hello,

 

In a library, is there a setting that sets the default column view option showing categorized columns in the collapsed condition?

 

If not, are there available programmed solutions you could recommend?  

 

FYI: I am a site owner using the Modern Experience and found a (very) loosely related solution for Lists in the following thread:

    Clint_E_Hill you can group by documents in a library in the same way as you group items in a list. Edit the view (or create a new one), scroll down to Group By, select the column to group by and whether by default the grouping should be collapsed or expanded.
