Left Navigation mandatory? (Modern)

Can the left Navigation be suppressed in Modern pages? In classic, we use a bit of JavaScript to hide it.   Thanks, Rob.

If you mean to do it at a single page, I think the answer is currently "no"

      Ey Rob, for now no :-(...I hope the team will provide ways to do that in the future

      comm sites currently your only option. Hoping they allow us to put the comm site template onto team sites before long.
