Job titles not updating in SharePoint People web part
Jerry Winsten I don't t believe Microsoft cares enough to fix issues like this. They continually roll out "new" features that aren't quite finished and don't intend to. I truly believe their motto is get it 80% done and not worry about it.
- Yeah, This issue is almost a year old. I bit the bullet and had to remove/re-add people in the webparts for several dozen pages. NOT FUN.

Just had a similar issue with a users Job Title, after the AD update most apps caught up after a day or so except a SP page that was created before the change. On the web parts person autocomplete drop down the job title appeared as the old one despite all efforts to sync.
However, once the name was typed in and I clicked the "Search Directory" item (the last one on autocomplete) instead of the users item, the title updated..
I am not sure if this is a lucky timing situation, or if it works for all similar objects/web parts but I thought it may help to share..

I believe this need to be fixed as its impacting so many customers.
