Is there a way in modern team sites to get emailed when someone comments on a page?
The comments web part is at the bottom of every page in a modern team site (except the home page): We have many pages. Is there any way for an admin to get notified (emailed) when a new commen...
It looks like comments are not stored on any library in the site. They are stored in a specific datastore which is accessible only via restapi. Please refer blogpost below.

Maybe you could use flow and these restapi calls to get notified when a new comment is posted.
The mobile app will currently give push notifications if a comment is made and you have them on. Not currently an out of box way to get comment notifications via e-mail or desktop etc.

Can you check if this method helps to send notifications to someone apart from author.

Very interesting post, thank you. It won't work for us, though, we block SP Designer. Also, only the infrastructure team has access to Azure Admin and we also won't have access to the Graph API. I'd have to get several departments involved just to try this out!

- No, they pretty much go to the author of the page, or anyone that replies to a comment that person that they reply to get one. Guess that really doesn't solve much of your question, I just read the title and started typing :).
