Is there a way break site permission inheritance?
Hi,
I am not the owner of the Share point site. But I want to create a folder that only certain people in the list of members can access. Because of site permission inheritance, I was unable to setup a folder in that way. All the Members still able to have full read and write permission to the folder.
- By default, only Site Owners can manage permissions on a site. This includes creating unique permissions on a folder in a library. You will need to ask a Site Owner to manage the permissions for the folder.
