Incorrect password expiration prompts

Several of my customers are randomly reporting that they are getting prompted to reset their password because it is about to expire, but they should not be getting this prompt. They are all using Chrome.

We reset Internet browsers cache, history, form data, and password data.

What else can we do to troubleshoot?
