if we upload large documents, can we be in a situation where only part of the document is indexed
i am working on an online sharepoint site. and i have a question on how sharepoint search works in this situation:- 1. let say we have uploaded many large documents (MS word, PDFs, excel sheets, etc...
There are limits for indexing large documents. See https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/search-limits (I expect this limits to be still applicable even though the document is 2 yrs old).
e.g. the limit for documents is 64 MB (and metadata + content beyond the 64 MB) are not indexed. For Excel the limit is much less: 3 MB.
