I need document set or No

Hi
I want to make a DMS for my self. My file types are different
Autocad
Excel
Word

For each (Document) No normally I have one file type for example Autocad or Excel or Word.
After publish as a major version also I need pdf file (converted) of published (Approved) version,
Now I like to know for creating this DMS I need Document set or No?
