In my original post, "Group" and "Microsoft Group" meant the same thing. In the List Permissions, it shows up as Domain Group. I guess Microsoft wasn't consistent when naming the same object across different products.
Are you able to find the domain group for the members rather than the SharePoint group?
- Hmmm....what happens is you start Inheriting permissions again, then stop inheriting permissions and only remove the unwanted groups rather than removing and re-adding the same group? (assuming this isn't how you did it to begin with)
Kelly_Edinger I've tried that but it didn't help. 😔
