Hub site propagated access?

I have tried googling around, but either I find very old results or things that are not quite what Im looking for.

I have set up an internal SharePoint site that is a Hub, and then I have several other sites linked to that hub.

Is there a way to assign access to the hub, and have it automatically propagate the same people to all the sites linked to that hub?

Im trying to find a simple way to administer general access - there is a team of people who need access to the hub and all the hub sites it contains, and when someone joins or leaves the hub I would like a simple way to add/remove them rather than having to remember all the hub sites that will be created and manually go in and update each one.

Many thanks! 🙂
