Hub Site and Site Creation
Good Day
Has anyone been able to see first hand/test the new option of creating a new site right from a Hub Site? We have been waiting for this new feature since it was announced to be available by the end of December 2018 but we have not gotten the new capability yet rolled out to any of our tenants including an early adopter/targeted customer tenant. Will the create site link show up to only site collection administrators? Thanks!
Yes, it is available in my tenant (a Targeted Release tenant). The option shows up for any user who is a Site Owner for the Hub Site.

- Yes I have it also...important to mention that the option to create a site is only available in the Hub Site and not in any other site joined to the Hub
Thank you all! I am wondering then if this new capability for new site creation off the Hub Site itself is tied to the SharePoint Admin Tenant feature that allows/disallows showing the Create Site Command. In our case we are not allowing at this point users creating their own web site from the landing page. As such we hid the site creation button by adjusting the Site Creation setting on the SharePoint Admin Center.
