How to programmatically add choices to a sharepoint column?

this is a power apps that integrates into sharepoint

I could go into the items property of the power apps but then I lose the integration to sharepoint, right?

is there anyway to en masse have the 'choices' filled in for many columns in a sharepoint list, like when you are importing in a list from excel?
