How to multilingual feature works in SharePoint?

Hello

I want to understand how the multilingual feature works? For Example a sharepoint list using by two different language users i.e. English and Spanish.

If English users edited one item in english, so spanish user should see that modfied item in spanish langauge. 

If Spanish users edited one item in spanish language, so english user should see that modfied item in english langauge. 

I want to allows user to enter contents in their own language and other user can see and update the contents in their own language.

How translation works , how to implement this? Please advise any article.

Are there any sample/demo multilingual sites?
