How to migrate MySites from Sharepoint 2013 to Sharepoint 2016

I just installed SP 2016, clean install, and migrated a content database as well.

 

However I am not sure how to migrate my sites, we have about 50 users which already have their site with content on it.

 

1. Do I need to create first the web application for my sites and the my sites host? or do I need to first restore the DB?
