How to disable Files in user profile cards

I am looking for a way to remove the Files feature in the user profile cards

I assume this info comes from Delve, and I have disabled it on a testing account but the files are still displayed in Sharepoint profile cards 2 days later. It's a bit of a deal breaker for my org to have this option visiable by default.
