How to add conditional formatting so it doesn't affect other users

Hi,

I've recently added conditional formatting to preview documents by default, and it affected everyone in organisation. I'd like to do it so it affects only my own account/ my way of accessing sharepoint documents, however others would still open for editing as a default behavior. Is it possible?! I'll be very grateful for help!
