How i can reset the color of our sharepoint upper menu to be black

Hi all,

I am working on a classic sharepoint online team site. and i used to have this look's theme color:-

where all the links were showing in purple, while the upper menu (where the Office 365 is showing) will be black (as shown above).

but by mistake i changed the theme color to be orange (i thought i were working on our test site!!). so immediately i set the theme color back to purple as follow:-

but as shown above, even that i chosen the same theme color i used to have, the upper menu (where the office 365 is showing) is being shown in purple color instead of black..

so how i can restore the exact previous theme colors (which have purple links + black upper menu) ?

  • The change the look option does not change the top navigation bar when you are in the modern experience, however it changes it if you go to a classic page. For what I see, once you change the theme using the Change the look option, there is no way to revert back the black background color you had before in the top navigation bar....you can only change again the them until you find one that can fix it
