how can I replicate the "Need help" function from O365?

- Tanya DentonOct 29, 2018Steel ContributorIf you want just a solution in SharePoint, you could create your answers per page or in a list. Then you could create a Search Scope (it could be called Result Source now) narrowed down to those pages/list and then create a search results page narrowed down to that scope. (there is more to it but that is the basics). If you need further details i will look back at how i did this and give you the relevant steps.

OK, I was thinking primarily to have a SharePoint site (but I wouldn't mind if it worked in Teams or other apps too) for all things related to IT at our company. On this site users should be able to quickly find info on how to do what they want. So it would be a mix of links to user guides provided by Microsoft (e.g. support.office.com) and more specific internal guides/tutorials. Ideally they will find what they are looking for, but I'd like to give them an easy way to ask for help also and I cannot think of any easier way than just to start typing a question/issue in a text field and have some suggestions proposed, and if that is not sufficient then just click the send button and that question/issue will be sent to the IT team.
I like both your suggestions and will play around a bit with those and see what I come up with. Thank you!
