How can I embed a filtered list in a modern page?
I would like to embed a list in a page that is filtered based on one or more columns, but the "List" web part only shows the entire list. I can link to a filtered list by passing "FilterFieldN/FilterValueN" args, but I can't find a way to pass these to an embedded list. This used to be possible in older versions of SharePoint.
Keath_Milligan The classic interface where you can create filtered views within the web part isn't an option. In the modern interface you need to have the View created in the list itself. Then add your list web part to the modern page, edit the web part and select the View drop-down and choose the view you want to display.
Scott Strausbaugh yeah, that's what I was afraid of. This would be impractical to manage when the field you want to filter on has a lot of possible values or changes frequently.
