How can I create a Site Directory?
Long and far away (SharePoint 2010) there was an option to create site directory for a particular site collection. I know you can create one using Content Search Webpart, but I'm wondering if anyone...

AFAIK, Site Directory feature was not ported by Microsoft to SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online so you have to build it by yourself...using search, as you have said, it's the most advisable option
