Highlighted Content web part not showing all managed fields

Curious whether anyone has some insight on this particular issue. 

I have multiple content types published in a Hub and its member sites. I'm attempting to roll up content using the HCWP and one of the managed fields doesn't appear in the configuration drop down. All of the other managed fields are there. 

1. The content type that it belongs to is successfully published to the library. 

2. I have republished the content type, with no change. 

I feel like I've missed something here, but I can't narrow down what it might be.
