Glitch in the Matrix; Lists and SP ID
Recent bug in SharePoint Online. Action: Create a item. Easy. Problem: The ID displays as a long and wrong number. Refresh: The ID changes to the right number. No clue why this is happening, but ...
There's nothing you can do about, it's something to do with how SharePoint internally sets the ID and it does sort itself out with a refresh. It doesn't lead to any issues.
