Formula for ignoring a letters in sharepoint list columns

Hello,little help or suggestion if is posible.

Ill give example,how to solve this little problem,so is posible to calulate 4a+4b+2c or 4a+3b+c ignoring a letters and only using a numbers,does anyone know some forumula or??Thanks guys
