Forcing a content type to open in App

Question

Good afternoon,&nbsp;&nbsp;I have a specific content type that I want to force open in the Excel App from SharePoint Online. I am ok with "breaking" Excel Online in order to do this, but the current way I have it involves 4 clicks. What feature can I add that would force everybody to open in the app.? Thanks.

It will not be possible for one it is either all or none in your library

In the advanced settings, change the option to open in the client application as shown below.&nbsp;

I need this to be for the one specific content type, not all.
