Following Capability in Modern Sites

Thank you all for the responses. That is correct, pages or news we can save for later but for Documents you have to rely on what Delve shows you either recent ones you have accessed or other files from other sites/locations that you may have interest. The use case we keep hearing is what we had on classic pages. You are in a SharePoint Site reviewing document libraries and you like in picking from there files that you like to follow. Any thoughts on when following people may be part of the road map? Thanks!

DC_Padur The use case is that , imagine a user is working on multiple sites , and multiple documents like Sales , Marketing.
He just want to fav then document , so that it is available from any device and he can work on it later.
Its like saving time from finding the document.

I understand legacy "Follow" feature for Sites and Documents as a way to change Browsers capability to save bookmarks (Even same star icon is used).
In multi device environment with multiple web browsers (IE, Chrome, Edge or any other...) in use it's a great feature to have single web page as a personal portal with all links to relevant material that you marked). And it can be called My Site, Neewsfeed, SkyDrive, OneDrive or anything :-).
That is expected functionality to my opinion. And it could be helpful for every content element under SharePoint, that can have unique URL address.
For Sites it still works.
