File Viewer Web Part in Modern Pages
Good Day
We have heard from customers issues with the File Viewer Web part in rendering successfully PDF files. Seems this may be intermittent. Does anyone know if the File Viewer is truly fully compatible with PDF rendering? The PDF files are mostly static no dynamic content. Any ideas of why we may get the error sometimes and other times works fine? Thanks!
We had the same issue and we found that's because of the protected document that you need to click Trusted when you open Adobe.
Here is the resolution 🙂

- JMB125Brass ContributorThank you all, really appreciate it. I am not sure though that I follow this workaround. We rely on the SharePoint File Viewer web part and do not leverage any Adobe plug in or connector. The PDF files are to render on Microsoft's web part and if we wanted it loads also in the browser with the core controls offered by Microsoft. Whats really strange is that the behavior is not consistent, most of the times it renders the file fine and few others it does not.
