File view counting

There's a file in SharePoint online library. When I display information about the file I can see that It has been viewed 264 times and there was 150 viewers. But...

When I run query in Office 365 Audit Log Search for  the event „Accessed file”  that there's  only 122 viewers of this file. Can somebody tell me why? I assume that information in „Audit log” is correct?

Do you have any ideas about this?

    How long has the file been around? The audit logs only go back so many days, i'll have to look up the reference, but the count on the file is lifetime of document, audit log will only be a time frame.
