External user email notifications when sharing a site
StephenRice Hi, you mentioned that the sharer will be CC's when they share a site with externals. Is it possible to disable being CC'd. For example, if I share with an external, I also receive the notification but I accidently click the accept invite link and therefore I have accepetd on behalf of the person(s) I have shared the site with. So does this mean that the person I have shared with is not able to accept since I have already done so (by accident)?
Cheers
Hi Damien Flood,
No, the shared with user will be good to go. When we built the CC feature for external sharing invitations, we also did a little work to make sure that if the sharer (i.e. you) clicks on the invitation link, they will just get redirected to the document without accepting the invitation. If you run into any issues with this, let me know. Thanks!

Hi StephenRice,
Thanks for the explaination.
In the Access Requests section of the teamsite I am sharing I can see in the history that the request (sent to external) was accepted by me.

Microsoft
Really? Can you confirm if the external user can use the invitation? Thanks!

StephenRice I reinvited the user and they have accepted successfully.
If I hadn't reinvited, wondering if the user would have still been able to accept even though it say's I had accepted in the history.
