External user email notifications when sharing a site

Hi Stephen, it was very bizarre, I tried everything but the user was still not getting the share email, I tried doing the same thing from an 0365 Group and the user received the shared email group invite as a guest. In the end my fellow sharepoint admin tried sharing the classic site to the same user from Chrome and it worked, so whether or not there was a weird browser cache thing going on? I was using IE 11.

MicrosoftThanks Kevin. If your fellow admin shared to them normally, did the e-mail go through? And have you experienced this problem with any other e-mail addresses or just this one? Thanks!
- Yeah, the email went through from my colleague , the only difference was she was using Chrome on a Mac and I was in IE 11 on Windows 7 :-) must be a browser cache or something?
- StephenRiceMight be possible. Did you try clearing the browser cache on your device and re-sharing?
- No I didn't as the share site email was working for another external user from the same organisation, I didn't try another browser either -should always try the simple things first :-)
