Excel export to SharePoint
When using the above feature in MS Excel, a new list is created in my target modern Site, however it creates a Classic list style, not a modern list. The new modern list ribbon with Flow, PowerApps et...
Other lists on the site modern I assume? Check in advanced options under list settings and make sure the list experience is set to modern?
- Yep site is fully modern, so created lists from within the site are modern.
Even in list settings (which I access via the old ribbon) , advanced, there is no list experience the set classic or new, it’s also missing.- If this is design, I’ll first create a modern list, then connect to it with excel, then copy paste my data over and save
- It’s not in advanced it’s a few menu items down. Don’t have pc to check right now but seems like it probabaly doesn’t matter. I had a list do this to me as well I ended up moving the data to another list via sharegate lol. I’ll pluck around tomorrow if someone doesn’t figure it out and see if I can’t figure it out.
