Events List - Reccurring Events

We have created an Events list and added Birthdays as recurring events. When you try to display the webpart on a site page the recurring events do not show up. Is this a bug or as designed?

    I have the same issue displaying the events list in site pages.This seems like a bug. Anyone? Bueller?

      Hi Marando,

       

      We have a case currently open with Microsoft on this issue and apparently this looks like a bug. We haven't had confirmation that it is bug but the latest status is that the product team is looking into this and we are waiting for information on the next step.
