Hi, one of my customers had a similar case there. the latency was the main cause of this problem. If there is any caching of files between the file server and the VM running SPMT, this can also cause problems. I've only had this experience with Azure-based storage, but I think the same issue can occur with a SAN with caching or high latency (or both).
Hi, thanks for this. I have ran a ping and a tracert from both servers and latency isn't an issue, results are coming back instantly at <1ms. I will check caching of files!
