Error while unregistering Hub Site
I try to unregister the root site as a Hub Site in order to set a new root site. When I do it in the SharePoint Admin I get an error message. Even after doing it via Powershell (Unregis...
- The root site seemed still to be connected to the (not existing) hub. After removing the orphaned association via Powershell (Remove-SPOHubSiteAssociation) all works fine.

Are there any sites associated with the Hub? If that's not the case and a possible cause for the error you are having, I would recommend to open a support ticket so they can take a look
