Enterprise Key Words

Good Day

In SharePoint Online we can enable enterprise key words for a list or library. However we have cases where content that may be associated with an enterprise keyword in having sensitive content thus keeping the enterprise key words for that content to be publicly discoverable. It seems there was an option in the list or library settings to "enable/disable metadata publishing" which would met the use case.  However, with the newsfeed partialy phased out i am wondering if there is still an option to expose enterprise key words to social tagging/my site profile.

What is the expected behavior then in SharePoint Online, we use Enterprise Key Words, will those be then available/viewable to anyone in the organization? Thanks
