Enable Metadata Navigation and Filtering not working in a SPO Communication/Team Site

Hello Folks,

In my SharePoint Online Communication site, I have activated the following Metadata Navigation and Filtering features (see capture 1), then map the corresponding Taxonomy in the List Settings (see capture 2).

It should have shown a Tree View at the left Navigation - similar to the capture 3 - however it is not showing. 

Any guess?
