adamsellsnj Users can always edit properties of their own profile in Office 365 profile page, which is accessible by clicking profile pic in top right corner while logged in Office 365 which takes users to Delve profile page. Properties which are open for editing are accessible in delve profile page.
Now about employee directory check out the org chart available in Delve, Teams app and also People tab in M365 search. All user profiles are accessible from all of these avenues. It will be redundant in my opinion to built another org directory.
