Drag Drop or Move Items Into Folders in SharePoint List

SharePoint on prem 2013 libraries support drag / drop from desktop to browser and even files into folders right in the browser. Wouldn't it be cool if you could drag and drop items into folders in a folder enabled list? I just wanted to see if anyone has found a way to accomplish this.

On a side note I do know that the "Content and Structure" part of SharePoint does make this possible but our end users don't have access to that given their contribute permissions.
