Does SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT) support migrating whole onprem site to online

I have a question if does SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT) supports migrating whole onprem sites which contain lists and libraries to SharePoint online? or it only support migrating documents?

johnjohn-Peter  SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT) supports migrating sites as well.

    ganeshsanap thanksa lot for your reply and the link, but what is the differecnes between this free migration tool and commercila migration tools such as sharegate nd avepoint?

      Which might be addressed while using third party migration tools like ShareGate. You can check the documentation of third party migration tools on their website for supported features.
