Does enabling Site Pages for the new modern pages affect current pages?
I want to design a new home page using the modern page, which would eventually replace my current home page. If I enable the "Site Pages" feature will this create issues for my current home page which was created with the classic pages? I just want to know if I can create updated pages behind the scenes and not affect our classic pages before we roll out the new sites to our company.
- It's been a long time since I've done it but it works. Worse case you might have to go specify the old page as the home page via SharePoint Designer, but I'm pretty sure it does it by default.
