It looks like this document set welcome page was edited in the past, as the image was removed and the Properties section was moved to Zone 3. Is there a way to reset the home page back to the default version?

btombari I've found an easy way to reset the document home page.
In the ContentTypes section of the site collection, look for "Document Set" default CT.

- AaronHamiltonJan 11, 2024Brass ContributorThis worked well for me. I had migrated a classic library and document set CT from SP2013 to SP Online using ShareGate Migration Tool. As discussed above, everything works except my classic Welcome page was appearing when I click on a Doc Set folder link. Incidentally, I did have some customizations on my classic Welcome page. Following your steps above, the Welcome page was reverted to its default configuration. Now my modern doc set behaves properly, opens the folder and displays the metadata side panel instead of a Welcome page. Thanks!

I have verified that I can convert the affected document type to a new document type with the modern view. I just need to find the time to set up a test group of sets to make sure everything works the way we need it to.
