Document Sets for SharePoint Knowledge Management

A majority of my research indicates that the usage of "Document Sets" for establishing a knowledge management library is the way to go. Is there anyone willing to share their experience with document sets for a knowledge management library and how they structured the hierachy of the libary with document sets?

Thanks in advance for any guidance! Love the flexibility of SharePoint but can be a bit overwhelming to determine best path.

not really agreed, SharePoint Document Sets are a better folder, you can inherit metadata to the documents, inside the document set. A Knowledge Management based often on different information like documents, item, videos and other. I prefer libraries and lists with metadata and a powerful search center with PnP Moder Search WebParts: https://microsoft-search.github.io/pnp-modern-search/
