Display Calendar for Single Day

Hi there,

I am trying to visualise room bookings for people in my organisation.

I would like to visualise the room availability for the current day - without any booking functionality necessarily. Ideally it would just be a column of time with coloured sections where it is already booked and blank sections where it is not.

The calendar views seem to be able to do what I want to an extent, but they force me to have a week at minimum. I don't want to show on room for multiple days, I want to show multiple rooms for one day.

We have all of our rooms in Outlook as resources which can be booked, and our users can use the room availability checker in Outlook, but the less tech inclined users have expressed a desire for a quick reference for room availability. We have a shortage of meeting spaces so appointments are booked around room availability, not the other way around.

We used to use a whiteboard, but my team had to constantly juggle keeping it up to date, so we are hoping this solution would meet in the middle, but I can't work out how to do it. Does anyone have any ideas?
