Disable the list Quick Edit "Rename Column" feature when viewing in Modern experience.
I need to hide or disable the Quick Edit's "Rename Column" feature when viewing a list in Modern experience. I know how to disable it using a CEWP through the Classic Experience but I lose the benefits the Modern Experience provides, especially when dealing with large lists. Currently, there doesn't appear to be an option to hide/disable the feature in Modern List views. This inability can have dire consequences if used incorrectly or by people who shouldn't be using it at all. Does MS have a plan to address this issue?.

- AFAIK, there is no way to hide that action and I have not heard anything in regards of hiding

I looked at Road map and User Voice and did not see anything. You have the same risk of column renaming outside of Quick Edit.
I wonder if a custom permission levels for end users would help avoid the issue?
