Disable sending email when sharing a site

Sometimes it is very helpfull that you can automatically sent an email when you share a site with somebody.

But there are other situations that you don't want sent an 900+ email. In http://www.coryretherford.com/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=91there is for a local SharePoint a way to disable the sent an email feauture.

Is it in Office365 possible to uncheck the sent email checkbox for default?
