Disable create news from SharePoint home in Office 365
Is there any way to disable of hide the new "+ Create News Post" from the SharePoint Home? I tried looking for an option on the SharePoint Admin settings and found nothing there. This is a great feat...
No update? A feature like this must have the option to disable it, otherwise it allows non approved news posts being published!
Is this still not possible to disable or has there been an update?
Unfortunately, I was still not able to determine a way to disable this option. Maybe there's a way through azure, similar to restricting O365 group creation.
There's a User Voice ongoing to disable this option. As it has a small number of votes, it might take a while (if ever) before the disable option becomes available.
Anybody else having additional info to share? Tx.
